The weather is still hot but there are some really cool events this weekend to help us begin to dream of cooler weather as Fall officially begins.
There are lots of events are happening in North Georgia and FoCo this weekend. In fact, its so full of events and fun things to do that you’ll really have to plan and choose where you go. Wherever you go, you will be sure to have a great time.

If you live in Northern Georgia or feel like a ride up through the start of the color change, don’t miss the Art Walk in Jasper.
ArtWalk is a vibrant community event series that transforms Main Street in Jasper, Georgia into a lively celebration of visual art and live music. Local artists will be displaying their work inside participating downtown businesses, which will remain open during the event for shopping and browsing, creating a unique and interactive arts experience throughout the district.

Whether you are looking for things to do in Forsyth County this weekend, a family-friendly fall festival, or a scenic day trip into the North Georgia mountains, this is an ideal weekend to get outside and enjoy the season. Start the day at the Cumming City Center Farmers Market, then stay for Oktoberfest from noon until 5:00 PM. The City Center will feature German beer, music, games, and Hofbräu favorites, making it an easy choice for an afternoon out with friends or family.
For a longer North Georgia day trip, head toward Jasper for ArtWalk, where Main Street businesses become part of the experience. Browse local art, shop downtown, enjoy live music, and support the small businesses that give Jasper its welcoming mountain-town character. ArtWalk runs Saturday, September 26, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Main Street and Perrow Park.
The Duluth Fall Festival is another strong choice for anyone looking for a classic fall festival experience. Downtown Duluth will host more than 300 arts-and-crafts booths, live entertainment, food, family activities, a parade, and a Sunday 5K. The festival takes place Saturday, September 26, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday, September 27, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
